Traveling in Spain
From the rugged mountains of northern Spain, to the vibrant capital Madrid and the black sandy beaches of the Canaries, this wildly diverse landscape has made Spain the most visited country in all of Europe.
A trip to Spain is quite frankly always a good idea. It is the most visited country in all of Europe, and it is not hard to see why! Positively bursting at the seams with culture, gastronomy and world-class hiking.
Spain is divided into 17 autonomous regions and two autonomous cities in northern Africa. With such a large surface to cover, it begs the question: Where do I start?
I was lucky enough to spend one year living in Barcelona many years ago. Galavanting across the country by hopping on and off a variety of trains ( though none as epic as the Costa Verde Express) and busses seemed a lot more fun than studying my master’s degree.
This resulted in mediocre grades, but an A+ when it came to the knowledge of traveling through Spain.
Sit tight as I put this knowledge down into bite-size posts for you. More to come in a wee while, for now you can read all about Tenerife.
